At After 5 our motto, "Celebrating the art of celebrating," is just a politically correct way of saying we really like to party. As such, you'll find here a rip-roaring collection of drink and cocktail-related wares and Holiday gifts ranging from the unique to the practical to the completely absurd.
Whether you're an aficionado of the martini, the margarita, the mojito, the Mai Tai, tequila, beer or wine, or simply an indiscriminate lover of booze in general we have for you a boatload of specialty drink themed barware, glassware, casual wear and even underwear.
Our cocktail paraphernalia, meanwhile, runs the gamut, as well. Flasks, martini shakers, wine chillers, personalized drink coasters, daiquiri blenders, cocktail mixers, martini bar lights and wine stoppers - when it comes to barware, you name it and we got it.
And gifts? Hah. We're loaded (most of the time literally). It all started with a chiropractor visit back in 1994. After a trip to Hawaii and a few days kayaking the coast, the doctor asked me, "Have you been sitting in a strange position or exercising with the wrong posture?" Yup. This was back when kayakers sat on a block of foam – if they were lucky. No one thought about kayaking "ergonomics" or "optimum paddling position." We kept saying, "There has got to be a better way."
So we designed and developed the first properly supportive kayak seats, and consequently pioneered the evolution of optimum paddling position. We were the first company to perfect the thermo compression molding process (now the universal method of kayak seat construction) and we've consistently been the industry leader in new product development, cutting edge technology, and benchmark quality ever since. Others may follow in our wake, but we'll always lead the way.
